Position: Director/Architect//Principal WLAN ASIC - PHY Design Lead
Location: Bangalore, India
Leadership role in architecting area and power efficient low latency designs with scalabilities and flexibilities
Work with Systems (algorithm) and software team to ensure performance and power efficiency
Work closely with the SOC team in PHY IP integration as well as chip bring-up and Si debug.
Work closely with internal teams(RF/Systems/SW/SOC) for defining the PHY feature set and interfaces.
Drive innovations in the low power design, performance enhancements, design improvements etc
Lead the PHY RTL team to deliver the Wifi6 and Wifi7 PHY to SOC team.
Writing specifications and other documents based on MATLAB/C system model.
Must have a well-developed ability to analyze specifications at the architecture and micro-architecture level to identify design improvements
Drive bit-true cycle-accurate verifications
Deliver the quality RTL to ensure lint-free and CDC clean design.
Deliver STA constraints and signoff on RTL, verification, timing of the design.
Drive power estimation (vector-less and vector-based), modeling, profiling, and post silicon power correlation.
12+ years of hands-on experience data path RTL design experience
strong fixed-point knowledge and extensive experience with bit true verifications
understanding of DSP communication algorithms and tradeoffs between performance, complexity, and power
Understanding of Decoders - Viterbi, LDPC, Polar
Understanding of Filter design, multi-radix implementation and compromises
Experience in design of signal processing Wireless protocols including 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax
Well verse with modern design techniques and low power logic design
track record of bringing logic designs into mass production
ability to work collaboratively with others and be productive under aggressive schedules
excellent communication skills and self-motivated
