The typical base pay range for this position is USD $61,000 - $96,800 per year. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, equity and other benefits. Note that compensation listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone, IM or email.
  • Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
  • Direct unresolved issues to the appropriate internal team.
  • Record events and resolutions to IT events logs and suggest possible improvements on procedures.
  • Follow-up and update customers techniques questions
  • IT support/setup for company’s events on site.
  • IT vendor management and procurement
  • Some weekend support of projects when necessary.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Must be customer focused.
  • Excellent oral, written, email, and IM communication skills
  • Great process of elimination and other problem-solving skills
  • Experience installing and configuring Windows systems.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Office and other desktop applications at the user level.
  • Some basic Unix/Linux experience (preferred).
  • Some basic networking experience (preferred).
  • Mac OS experience (preferred)
  • Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced global company.
  • Experience with monitoring systems such as CheckMK, Nagios and Splunk and other monitoring tools is a bonus

 

Education/Degree(s):

 

  • AS Degree or 5 years’ experience

 

Other Job-Related Requirements:

 

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
