Background
Synaptics Inc is building a world-class franchise around WiFi/BT products targeted towards IoT applications. As part of this push to be the go-to vendor for connectivity solutions for IoT, a new silicon development team is being built in Bangalore. The team will have complete ownership of connectivity products right from architecture, specification development, design, design verification, integration, emulation, tapeout and production. The team is viewed as a “start-up” within Synaptics umbrella and is looking for highly motivated, talented members to create next generation products.
Design role in 802.11 MAC for WiFi7 development. Emphasis on power efficient and low latency designs with scalabilities and flexibilities. Drive innovations in the low power design, performance enhancements, design improvements etc. Work closely with internal teams (SoC/PHY/FW/DV) for defining the various feature sets and interfaces. Need to work as well on chip bring-up and Si debug.

Position: Director/Architect//Principal WLAN ASIC - PHY Design Lead
Location: Bangalore, India
Leadership role in architecting area and power efficient low latency designs with scalabilities and flexibilities
Work with Systems (algorithm) and software team to ensure performance and power efficiency
Work closely with the SOC team in PHY IP integration as well as chip bring-up and Si debug.
Work closely with internal teams(RF/Systems/SW/SOC) for defining the PHY feature set and interfaces.
Drive innovations in the low power design, performance enhancements, design improvements etc

- Position: Sr Manager/Architect//Principal WLAN ASIC - MAC Design Engineer / T6
- Location: Bangalore, India
- Lead the WiFi MAC IP digital design team, taking full responsibility for all aspects of digital design methodology, design planning and execution and communication with senior management.
- Drive MAC architecture working with the SW/Systems teams to do HW/SW partitioning.
- Drive pre-silicon prototyping / emulation efforts in support of pre-silicon verification, prototyping, and SW / FW development.
- Support post-silicon validation, debug efforts.
